Fuzhou airport transit

Fuzhou Railway Station is the transportation hub of Fujian Province. It is located at the north end of Hualin Lu, in the northern part of the downtown area. There is a layover in Fuzhou. I traveled with Xiamen Air before, with a layover in Xiamen and I could just pick up a Transit visa. But based on information online, the transit visa procedure seems to be different for entering Fuzhou.

What I understand from the information is that we cannot get a transit visa in Fuzhou.

The current handling capacity is approximately 6. I have a transit time of about hrs from midnight to 10am. Fuzhou Metro is a new rapid rail transit system under construction in the city of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province, China. The metro rail system will be operated by Fuzhou City Subway Co. The single journey tickets of Fuzhou Metro are red plastic RFID tokens.

The first two lines of the Fuzhou Metro are estimated to cost $2. The logo of Fuzhou Metro and the words Metro Fuzhou are shown in the center of the tokens. The English and Chinese words of Fuzhou Urban Rail Transit are shown on the edges of the tokens.

The tickets can be purchased from the automatic ticketing machines.

I just discovered we might need a transit G type (a friend of mine just got stuck in Shenzhen airport without an entry permit). Does anybody have experience flying through Fuzhou? Is a transit G type required? It is an international airport with more than 11. Fuzhou Changle-Airport is one of the medium-sized airports in China.

Since there is a strong demand for free transit hotel accommodations, passengers should make hotel reservations by your own or change your travel dates in the event that no hotel room is available on the date you choose. Fuzhou is a sprawling city, which makes it difficult to get around by foot.

However, there is excellent public transportation within the city. It is available to passengers of most nationalities at most ports of entry. The IATA code for the airport is FOC. If your layover is more than hours, you can consider 72-hour TWOV or 144-hour TWOV.

Fuzhou International Airport is around km away from downtown Fuzhou. It takes around minutes to get to the downtown area by taxi. Airport skybus can go to the center of the city to pick up passengers. The parking place at the center of the city is Apollo Hotel (No.1at Wuyi Roa 2meters away from the north of Fuzhou bus station), the stops on the way are Baihu pavilion, Xianan, circle island of Changle, circle island of Zhangxiang and the airport passenger terminal.

Passengers who fly to other domestic destinations via Fuzhou on flights not operated by Xiamen Airlines at either the terminal of departure or the terminal of transfer are not eligible for Though Check-in (for both passengers and baggage) service.

They are required to claim their baggage and have it rechecked at Fuzhou Airport. Could you give us the details of your transit at Fuzhou airport , please. Sorry I didn’t answer earlier but for future readers, be reassured everything went super smoothly. To be fair, out of a full flight out of Paris we were only a handful connecting in FOC.
