Date to marry mindset

You will ideally be with the person you marry forever once you settle down, so there’s no harm in having fun while you are young. On another note, even though someone may not seem like someone you’d marry the first few months or even year you’re together, doesn’t mean that they won’t surprise you. Ultimately, dating your wife is a mindset of worship and service.


But even before you take initiative and lead your wife in worship and service during your dates , you must first reflect on your dating mindset.

It’s the kind of mindset both my husband and I have. We both came into our marriage with not a lot of “baggage” because of it. It’s an idea that will be passed on to our children when they are old enough to date. I often talk about how mindset is the secret sauce to attracting a healthy relationship with a good man, the kind you marry. Yet mindset work in relationship seems to be the best kept secret when it comes to love and attraction.


They asked if I don’t date to marry , what do I date for? Is it play around and have fun? But I know that I am not a player.


Is not having the ‘ date to marry’ mindset a ‘wrong’ mindset that will affect the foundation or future of my relationship?
