Where is pleiades located in the sky

Where is Pleiades in the night sky? Comet Holmes is currently near the star Mirfak in the constellation Perseus. If you look in the evening just after dark, this would be high in the north-eastern sky. The only thing I can tell you is you have to go out and watch the stars a lot. In the Northern Hemisphere, the Pleiades star cluster becomes visible to evening observers in October and disappears in April.

November is the best time to look for the Pleiades , when they are visible from dusk to dawn and reach their highest point in the sky. In early October, the Pleiades become visible a couple hours after sunset. Pleiades , also known as M4 is the brightest open constellation seen in the night sky. It is a grouping of stars in the Taurus constellation and has always been visible from earth.

The brightest stars in the cluster represent the Pleiades, the Seven Sisters in Greek mythology, and their parents, the nymph Pleione and the Titan Atlas. The Winter Hexagon, also known as the Winter Circle, is a prominent winter asterism formed by seven stars prominent in the winter sky. These are Rigel in Orion, Aldebaran in Taurus, Capella in Auriga, Castor and Pollux in Gemini, Procyon in Canis Minor, and Sirius in Canis Major constellation.
