More and more Christians , all over the worl believe that material prosperity is the right of all Christians. There is no doubt that both the Old and New Testaments teach that the faithful. A man can be rich and be one of God’s people. But a man cannot have a life goal of getting rich and be a Christian.
The greatest goal the Creator gives to man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
One can indeed be rich and be a Christian, but one cannot worship God and Mammon (money). Also, if a Christian is blessed by God to have large amounts of wealth, then he or she should use it for furthering the gospel. Therefore, wealthy Christians , just like poor Christians , should tithe to the church to aid it in expanding the gospel of Christ.

World poverty is a common theme in the news and in many Christian circles today, perhaps due in part because of the efforts of the author and those like him who promoted the cause of the poor.
