Social groups canberra

Find a group in Canberra Imagine what you could do with the right people by your side. Check out groups in the Canberra area and give one a try. Join a group of fun social people who are out to prove that the myth of Canberra being a boring place is wrong, and get together regularly to mingle, meet new people, and enjoy a range of the ‘what’s on’ activities around town.


Canberra has many meetup groups : Best of Canberra, Canberra Walking group, Sisterhood ACT, Canberra Ladies, Women’s Adventure group, Canberra Breakfast Club, and Camping Canberra, to name a few. Meetup groups are open to everyone.

Okay, so you joined a social group. Probus provides you with the opportunity to join together in clubs and to progress healthy minds and active bodies through social interaction and activities with retirees in your community. Probus opens the door to new experiences and friendships, you can hear wonderful guest speakers, stay active by participating in a wide range of activities. It depends what you like to do.


There are many sports and social clubs around. Some sports clubs have a more social feel than others, I personally choose sports clubs with a strong social aspect so I can meet people and do things other than the sport. Join one of the many learning and social groups that gather at our branches: they are a great way to pick up new skills and meet new people.


These groups are organised independently of the library and run by volunteers.

The most active, most fun and best friends I have made thus far in Canberra and I find it offensive for these active trolls who say otherwise. It hosts events connecting the students to the law profession and other employer groups , engages closely with School and contributes to other important events throughout the school year. Canberra Law Student Society invites all of the School’s students to gain the most from the society by being an active member.


Any classes or groups offered by BCS (e.g. gym programs) can be accessed through an NDIS package however there are some groups that are specifically tailored to and popular with adults who live with disability. BCS also offers a range of tailored individual supports that can be accessed through the NDIS. Matches are modified so players can get their weekly tennis fix and a modified scoring system keeps all matches i. The Canberra Southern Cross Club hosts a variety of social clubs for all ages and interests.


All social groups are conducted at the Woden venue (excluding Bridge and Sing a long which are specified below at Tuggeranong). Spiral Club is located in the suburbs of Curtin and Woden Valley, the council of Canberra and the federal electorate of Canberra. This is a fast-growing social group for people either new to Canberra , or just wanting to.


Book Canberra Excursions Book excursions to Australia’s National Capital. The RSCDS and other Scottish country dance groups meet weekly from February to November for enjoyable, physical and mental dance activity. Classes are available every week day at various locations around the city. We are afraid that you cannot join, because the Consuls have limited access to this Activity Group. The community is core to the Burns Club.
